Q:  What are the differences between PDFCool trial version and registration version?

A:  PDFCool is a "Shareware" program. Everyone is entitled to evaluate the software for 30 days without charge. After 30 days, if you decline to register, many functions of the software will automatically become invalid. We have provided two different versions of PDFCool: Trial version, full-working version. Your PDFCool is a trial version before registration. Q:  How to convert various format files to PDF documents?

A:  Go to Convert > Any to PDF, check files you want to convert to PDF documents in the File List box. Then, click on the Create PDF button to open the Options for Converting Any to PDF dialog. Note: When checking the Convert each file to one PDF option, each selected file will be converted to relevant individual PDF document.

Q:  How to sign PDF documents?

A:  Go to Security > Sign Documents, If exists saved PFX project file, you can directly click on the Add button to import the file, and then enter the ID password when you create this PFX file. If there is no saved PFX project file, you need to create one. Click on the Create New ID button, and enter the sign information in the opened dialog. Click on the Create button to finish the New ID creation. Then, enter the ID password when you create the PFX file and step into the next stage. Add the PDF documents you want to sign into the Document List box. Check them and enter the relevant information. Then, type an output name and choose output path. Click on the Finish button to accomplish the signing process. You can sign both a single PDF document and multiple PDF documents.

Q:  Why some PDF documents can not be edited, for example, insert watermarks, add background and export text etc?

A:  When a PDF document has been set the edit permissions, the user can not place some operations to that PDF document, such as insert watermarks, page header/footer, background and export text or images etc.

Q:  How to crush files?

A:  Go to View > My Recycle, you can add files you want to crush to the File List box of My Recycle dialog. Check the files, and then click on the Crush button. Once the files being crushed, they can not be recovered by any recovery tool.

Q:  How to tile multiple watermarks in a PDF document?

A:  Go to Document > Watermarks, to open the Watermarks dialog, in which you can add text watermarks and images watermarks. Choose the PDF document you want to add watermarks from the opened PDF documents. Among the relevant parameters, you can choose the watermarks repeat times. Finally click on the Apply button to finish the add watermarks process .

Q:  What can I do when I can not clearly remember the password of a PDF document?

A:  The decrypt function of PDFCool Studio allows you to easily handle this problem. If you can not clearly remember the password of a PDF document, you can go to Security > Decrypt Document, to open the Decrypt dialog. You can enter up to 20 possible passwords in the Decrypt dialog, among which one is the right password; you can change the password setting of the PDF document.

Q:  How to open PDF documents on computer without PDF reader installed?

A: Go to Convert > EXE Builder, to open the EXE Builder dialog. With this function of PDFCool Studio, you can pack PDF documents to EXE files, so that these files can be opened on computers without PDF reader installed.

Q:  What can I do if the text font used in a PDF document can not be found in the System Fonts?

A:  PDFCool Studio has the font embedded function. Go to Tool > Text Setting, to open the Text Setting dialog, in which the fonts in PDF document, Standard Font and System Fonts are listed. You can embed the fonts used in the PDF to PDF document, so that when you open the PDF document on another computer, the original text fonts exist even the fonts can not be found in the computers System Fonts.

Q:  Why it can not reach the expected effect when I create PDF from online webpage?

A:  Because the structure of online page is complicated, it may not reach the expected effect when converting to PDF.

Q: Why adding some PDF documents as watermarks, the watermarks opacity can not be adjusted?

A: If a PDF document is made of images, using it as watermarks, the watermarks opacity can not be adjusted.

Q:  The relationships among Batch Processor, My File box and My Recycle?

A:  Files in Batch Processor can be sent to My File box, or deleted to My Recycle; Files in My File box can be sent to Batch Processor, or deleted to My Recycle; Files in My Recycle can be sent to Batch Processor and My File box, and can also be crushed forever.
